A sweet friend shared this recipe with me and I immediately knew I needed to get this one on lock down! It's so easy, minimal ingredients, it just doesn't get better than that!
All you need is your sourdough, whatever seasonings your heart desires and maybe some cheese.
How to:
First, line a sheet pan with parchment paper. The good stuff!! Not the cheap stuff that doesn't actually work and was not only a waste of money, but also was ruining bake after bake until you figured out it was just bad parchment!! Yeah I did that. Now you know so you don't have to go through that. BUY THE GOOD STUFF!
Now pour your sourdough on the sheet pan. Spread it out THIN. I used a frosting knife and that worked amazing.
Sprinkle with your seasoning, honestly have fun with this! Garlic salt would be amazing, cinnamon and nutmeg, cinnamon sugar (next on my list!!). What I did today was REAL salt and some shredded cheese.
After your oven is preheated at 375, place your pan in for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes I took out the pan and broke off the edges because those were done, but the middle still wasn't as crispy as I wanted so I put it back in for another 5. After 5 more minutes I did the same thing, ripped off the edges and put it back in for 5 more minutes. That was enough, they were done!
It might sound like quite the process, but it wasn't bad and the finished product was worth it! I am already gearing up to do a few more rounds with different seasoning combinations.
Let me know if you try this one and what seasoning mix you use and love!!
Enjoy!!!
Did you know
You were never meant to blend in with the world...
"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possessions, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into HIS wonderful light."
Be different. Go against the grain. Be who GOD called you to be because at the end of the day, it's His opinion we should care about. He's the one we stand before on judgement day and I don't know about you, but I want to hear "Well done my good and faithful servant. Welcome home."
Living for Jesus is one of the greatest honors of my life. I have never felt so FREE.
The real scam is living to please other humans. It's living in self-doubt and self-hate. It's never truly living up to your full potential and living out your full and true purpose in Jesus Christ.
Jesus is freedom. He is it.
